Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide General Purpose to support kitchen operations in healthcare settings across the United States. You will learn food service routines quickly, set up meal trays, and assist with serving meals.

Additionally, you will help with dishwashing, monitor dishwashing equipment temperatures, and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment. This role emphasizes teamwork, reliability, and adherence to food safety standards with on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and follow established procedures.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes; operate the dishwasher.
• Check chlorine concentration and water temperature of the dishwashing machine.
• Keep kitchen clean, mop, sweep, and maintain sanitary conditions.
• Participate in orientation and training of dietary staff.
