Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to support the kitchen and dining services. You will learn food service routines, set up meal trays, assist with serving meals, and help keep the kitchen clean and sanitary.

This role requires the ability to read recipes and procedures, and to follow safety and sanitation guidelines. The position emphasizes teamwork with the cook and dietary supervisor, with responsibilities including dishwashing, tray handling, and assisting staff during shifts.

Qualifications

• Ability to read technical procedures.
• Ability to read and follow recipes.
• Math concepts like fractions, percentages, ratios and proportions.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes.
• Clean work surfaces, refrigerators, and floors; maintain sanitary kitchen.
• Observe and record dishwasher temperatures and chlorine levels at start of shift.
• Assist in orientation and ongoing training of dietary staff.
