Job summary

PACS is seeking a dependable Dietary Aide to support daily food service operations. You will learn routines quickly, set up meal trays, assist with dishwashing, help serve meals, and keep work areas clean and sanitary.

You must obtain a food handler certificate, read and follow recipes, and be able to lift up to 50 pounds. This role reports to the Cook and Dietary supervisor and participates in training with the dietary staff.

Qualifications

• Must be able to learn food service routines quickly.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.
• Must obtain and maintain a food handlers' certificate.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Strip down returned trays and wash dishes as part of duties.
• Carry out cleaning of kitchen, surfaces, and equipment.
