Job summary

PACS Group is seeking a Dietary Aide to support our kitchen operations. You will learn and perform routine food service tasks, set up meal trays, wash dishes, and assist with serving meals. The role requires cleaning, sanitizing, and maintaining cold storage, with opportunities to participate in staff training.

The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and accuracy in following recipes and procedures. A food handlers' certificate is preferred and may be required.

Qualifications

• Must obtain and maintain food handlers' certificate.
• Ability to read and follow recipes and procedures.
• Ability to present information clearly to managers and staff.

Responsibilities

• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Operate and monitor the dishwasher and related equipment.
• Prepare nourishments and snacks as directed.
• Clean and sanitize kitchen surfaces, refrigerators and floors.
• Carry out trash disposal and restock groceries as needed.
• Assist with orientation and training of dietary staff.
