Job summary

PACS is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal service and kitchen operations in our facility. You will learn routines quickly, set up meal trays, assist with serving, and help maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen environment under the Cook and Dietary supervisor.

The role requires the ability to read procedures, follow recipes, and obtain a food handlers’ certificate. You will work in a team with other dietary staff and departments, with emphasis on safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must obtain and maintain food handlers’ certificate.
• Ability to read technical procedures and follow recipes.

Responsibilities

• Learn food service routines quickly and support daily operations.
• Set up meal trays and assist with serving meals.
• Clean and sanitize work areas, surfaces and refrigerators.
• Operate the dishwasher and manage dishwashing cycles.
• Carry out trash, restock groceries, and maintain kitchen sanitation.
• Participate in orientation and ongoing dietary staff training.
