Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Dietary Aide for Live Oak Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in George West, TX. This PRN/as-needed role supports meal service, food prep, tray passing, and dining hall cleanup under the CDM's direction.

Responsibilities include adhering to safety and sanitation guidelines, assisting with beverage service, stocking carts, and helping in kitchen areas. A Texas Food Handler Certificate is required and a high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen is preferred.

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

Essential Functions

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
• Preparing and serving beverages
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service
• Stocking snack cart
• Bussing of tables and trays
• Cleaning the kitchen work area
• Dishwashing
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines
• Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director

Qualifications

Licensing Requirements
