Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Dietary Aide for Oak Grove Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Groves, TX. This full-time role supports meal service, food prep, beverage service, and kitchen cleanup under the direction of the CDM.

Responsibilities include setting up trays, stocking snack carts, and adhering to safety and sanitation standards. Prior commercial kitchen experience and a Texas Food Handler Certificate are preferred. Training provided as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Texas Food Handler Certificate required.
• Experience in a commercial kitchen preferred.

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations.
• Prepare and serve beverages.

• Clean the kitchen work area and dishwashing.
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the CDM or Executive Director.

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

Essential Functions

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations


• Preparing and serving beverages


• Setting up and passing trays for meal service


• Stocking snack cart


• Bussing of tables and trays


• Cleaning the kitchen work area


• Dishwashing


• Follow proper handwashing guidelines


• Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director
