Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services' Laredo South Nursing and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Dietary Aide to support meal preparation, serving residents, and maintaining dining areas.

Under the supervision of the Certified Dietary Manager, you will follow guidelines, assist with prep and tray setup, stocking, bussing, and cleaning duties.

This on-site, full-time role requires a Texas Food Handler Certificate and a HS diploma; prior kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate.
• Working in a commercial kitchen experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking under CDM guidance.
• Prepare and serve beverages.

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.

Essential Functions

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations
• Preparing and serving beverages
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service
• Stocking snack cart
• Bussing of tables and trays
• Cleaning the kitchen work area
• Dishwashing
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines
• Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director

Licensing Requirements

Experience Requirements
