Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Dietary Aide for our Rio Grande City facility. You will assist with food preparation, serving meals, and maintaining a clean dining area, under the guidance of the CDM and Executive Director.

Requirements include a Texas Food Handler Certificate with preferred prior kitchen experience. This PRN role supports the team with meal service and kitchen duties as needed.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate.
• Working in a commercial kitchen experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations.
• Preparing and serving beverages.
• Setting up and passing trays for meal service.
• Stocking snack cart.
• Bussing of tables and trays.
• Cleaning the kitchen work area.
• Dishwashing.
• Follow proper handwashing guidelines.
• Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned at times by the CDM or the Executive Director.

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.
