Job summary

Regency Integrated Health Services is seeking a Dietary Aide to assist the Certified Dietary Manager in preparing and serving meals to residents, and to help with post-meal cleanup in the dining area and kitchen. The role requires following universal precautions and state/federal regulations, with responsibilities that include beverage preparation, tray setup, stock replenishment, bussing, and dishwashing.

Texas Food Handler certification is required; a high school diploma is preferred, and

High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
Must have Texas Food Handler Certificate.
Working in a commercial kitchen experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Assist with food prep and cooking following universal precautions and state/federal regulations.
Preparing and serving beverages.
Setting up and passing trays for meal service.
Stocking snack cart.
Bussing of tables and trays.
Cleaning the kitchen work area.
Dishwashing.
Follow proper handwashing guidelines.
Additional special projects or tasks can be assigned by the CDM or the Executive Director.

Primary Responsibilities

The Dietary Aide follows the direction of the Certified Dietary Manager and state guidelines to ensure that food is properly prepared, served to residents, and after meals are completed cleanup of the dining hall and dishes.
