Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in Boise, ID is seeking an experienced Technician to perform preventive maintenance and complex repairs across a varied fleet.

You will lead as a respected technician at your location, mentor others, diagnose issues through road tests, and complete maintenance tasks with minimal supervision. Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Specialized training in engines, transmissions, differentials; ASE and 608/609 preferred.
• Experience using welding equipment, diagnostic equipment, and hand and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills.
• Ability to work as part of a team.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Basic computer skills.
• Adherence to DOT/OSHA safety and Penske policies.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck/trailer with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials; replace assemblies.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Work on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
