Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a skilled Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will diagnose issues, perform routine service, and log work using Penske tools while ensuring safety and reliability for customers.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication skills.
• Ability to work well as part of a team and outside.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must understand and comply with Penske safety and maintenance policies.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication, plus some electrical and cooling system work on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching with your manager.
• Handle other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
