Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is looking for a skilled Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet of vehicles. You will use Penske’s tools and technologies to diagnose, log, and complete repairs while learning Penske’s maintenance processes.

The role offers training opportunities, a supportive supervisor team, and a focus on safety and reliability. A valid driver's license and basic mechanical aptitude are required, with potential travel within a close geography

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required or preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and component lubrication and replacement on gas/diesel vehicles.
• Learn new skills via Penske training and hands-on coaching with your manager.
• Handle other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
