Republic Services is hiring a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulic/electrical systems, air brakes, engines, HVAC, suspension and drive train. You will work on a single fleet with state-of-the-art equipment, supporting drivers and serving the community.

Qualificações

• Diagnose multi-system issues and demonstrate technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• Experience or knowledge of maintenance on Classes 1-5 light/medium and heavy-duty Class 7-8 trucks, aircraft, or ships.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
• 3–5 years of technician experience or recent graduation from a relevant program.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsabilidades

• Maintains knowledge and skill in vehicle components and systems; performs preventative and repair maintenance on-site and on the road.
• Repair and maintain chassis components and refuse bodies with associated control, hydraulic and electrical systems; air and hydraulic braking systems.
• Perform light engine repair, suspension, drivetrain, steering, HVAC, and related tasks.
• Perform line maintenance welding and fabrication.
• Provide safe road service to return equipment to operation.
• Identify malfunction sources using electronic tools and complete training programs.
