Zusammenfassung

Republic Services is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician B to service diesel and non-diesel equipment. You will diagnose multi-system issues, perform preventative maintenance, and repair chassis, hydraulics, electrical and brake systems on heavy-duty trucks and related equipment.

You will work with a team under supervision, receive training on new technologies, and contribute to keeping our fleet operating efficiently.

Qualifikationen

• Ability to diagnose multi-system issues and consistently demonstrate technical expertise.
• Basic understanding of work order labor time standards.
• Experience with maintenance on Class 1-8 vehicles or equivalent equipment.
• ASE Certifications (T1-T8) are a plus but not required.
• Commercial Driver’s License is a plus but not required.
• 3-5 years of technician experience or recent technical schooling.
• Valid Driver’s License is required.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventative and repair maintenance on chassis, wheel, and drivetrain components.
• Repair diesel and non-diesel systems including hydraulic, electrical, and air brake systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, suspension, and steering systems.
• Perform basic line welding and fabrication as needed.
• Provide road service to return equipment to operation safely and efficiently.
• Complete required company training programs and adhere to safety standards.
