Job summary

US Foods is seeking a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician to maintain and repair diesel fleet equipment at our maintenance facility in Louisiana. The role includes diagnosing, rebuilding, and performing preventative maintenance in line with DOT standards.

You will document work in the fleet maintenance software, assist with training, and support other shop personnel. Travel and certifications may be required; a high school diploma is necessary.

Qualifications

3 years of hands-on experience as a Fleet Reefer/Refrigeration technician.
TK/Carrier Refrigeration Certifications preferred.
Willing to travel for training.
Ability to read and understand technical/service manuals.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot, diagnose, rebuild, replace and complete diesel equipment repairs.
Perform preventative maintenance within DOT standards.
Receive road calls and coordinate with third party vendors.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Document repairs using fleet maintenance software.
Mentor other maintenance staff.
Backup to other shop personnel.
Other duties as assigned by manager.
