Job summary

FleetPride seeks a Technician III for its Little Rock, AR shop, providing preventative maintenance and advanced repairs on heavy‑duty trucks and trailers. The role emphasizes high-level diagnostics, component replacements, and mentoring junior technicians to uphold quality standards.

The technician will perform major adjustments, complex repairs, and routine service tasks, with emphasis on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. Associated training and PPE are provided on site.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree or equivalent required.
• 7+ years of experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers.
• Strong customer service skills and ability to train others.
• Safety-conscious with welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine damage or malfunction(s).
• Train new service shop employees on procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform inspections and preventative maintenance of vehicles and equipment.
• Repair brakes, suspensions, engines, and fuel systems.
• Test drive vehicles and diagnose system failures.
