Job summary

FleetPride is seeking a Technician III to perform advanced preventative maintenance and repairs on heavy-duty trucks and trailers in a non-climate controlled shop. You will train junior technicians, inspect orders for quality, and perform diagnostics to propose effective repairs.

Applicants should have a Diesel Technology Associate degree and 7+ years of hands-on experience with Class 7/8 trucks and 53’ trailers. Must bring your own hand tools and uphold safety standards in a fast-paced shop.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree and 7+ years' experience with class 7 & 8 trucks.
• Experience repairing 53’ trailers and performing advanced diagnostics.
• Training experience and welding capability are a plus.
• Must provide hand tools and maintain safety standards.
• Strong customer service and ability to train other technicians.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and advanced repairs on trucks and trailers.
• Train new service shop employees on procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery.
• Perform diagnostics, testing, and system repairs.
• Maintain a clean, organized workspace and safety compliance.
