Job summary

United Engines in North Little Rock, AR seeks a Shop Technician II to perform preventative maintenance and routine repairs on trucks, buses, engines and components in a shop setting. You will troubleshoot, order parts, and complete work orders and time sheets with accuracy.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED and 1–2 years related experience; basic computer skills and portable diagnostic tools are needed.

Responsibilities

Accurately troubleshoot and diagnose routine problems with customer's equipment.
Identify and order parts necessary to complete repairs and routine maintenance.
Perform routine repairs on customer's equipment and replace parts as needed.
Perform preventative maintenance according to guidelines and schedules.
Complete all work orders and time sheets legibly and timely.
Consult with supervisor to ensure accuracy of diagnosis and approval for repair work.
Provide assistance to more senior Shop Technicians on larger jobs.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Follow established quality standards and safety procedures.
