Job summary

Penske is seeking a Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll learn Penske’s maintenance processes, use advanced diagnostic tools, and grow with industry-certified training.

Emphasis on safety, reliability, and career growth within a supportive, well-equipped shop environment. Qualified applicants have basic mechanical aptitude, 1–2 years repair experience, a valid license, and the ability to work in a team; DOT/OSHA policies apply; strong safety

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• Basic mechanical aptitude; 1–2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred
• Valid driver’s license and good problem solving skills
• Excellent customer service and communication abilities
• Ability to work as part of a team and outdoors
• Must understand safety policies and use of tools/PPE

Responsibilities

• Maintaining vehicles and ensuring safety for customers
• Using Penske tools and diagnostics to complete repairs
• Performing preventative maintenance and basic tire work
• Learning new skills through Penske training and coaching
• Supporting supervisor and handling other tasks as assigned
