Job summary

Penske is hiring a skilled technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll work with the latest technology, log repairs, and ensure vehicles are safe and road-ready.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work in a team.

Responsibilities

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for our customers.
• Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Performing preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication; some electrical and cooling system maintenance on gas/diesel engines.
• Partnering with your manager to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
