Penske Truck Leasing is hiring a technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will learn Penske's maintenance processes and use advanced tools to diagnose and fix issues.

The role offers training, growth opportunities, and a clear path to certification. The position is full-time, on-site at our New Bedford location, with a 2nd shift schedule and a starting pay of $31.51/hr plus shift differential and a CDL incentive where applicable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and interest in vehicle repair.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety and reliability.
• Log and research repairs using Penske tools and technologies, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventive maintenance like tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training programs.
• Collaborate with management on assigned tasks.
