Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to follow DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills; ability to work in a team and outdoors.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance repairs such as tire rotation and component lubrication.
• Learn new skills through hands-on coaching with a manager and Penske technician training.
• Take on additional projects as assigned by supervisor.
