Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing is seeking a Technician to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet. You will diagnose using Penske tools and complete maintenance tasks to keep vehicles safe and on the road.

Experience in vehicle repair is welcomed, and training is provided to learn Penske maintenance processes and advanced equipment. This role offers growth opportunities and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 1-2 years automotive or diesel repair experience preferred.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske's tools, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance (tires, lubrication, etc.) and some electrical/cooling system upkeep on gas and diesel engines.
• Collaborate with the manager to learn new skills via Penske training and hands-on coaching.
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
