Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co. is seeking a Technician in San Antonio, TX. You will perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on a fleet of vehicles to keep customers on the road.

You’ll work with experienced supervisors to learn Penske’s maintenance processes and gain industry-certified training. Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and ability to pass background/drug screens as required by DOT.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicle safety for customers.
• Use Penske tools to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on Penske fleet.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and coaching.
• Take on other projects as assigned by supervisor.
