Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an automotive technician to perform preventive maintenance and basic repairs on a diverse fleet at our Las Vegas facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to solve problems and use tools.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Teamwork and outdoor work capability.
• Basic computer skills.
• Must understand and comply with Penske policies.
• DOT/OSHA safety compliance and PPE usage.
• Regular, predictable attendance is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe and maintained for customers.
• Log, research and complete repairs using Penske tools, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance like tire replacement/rotation and lubrication; some electrical/cooling work.
• Learn new skills through technician training and hands-on coaching.
• Handle additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
