Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co. seeks an experienced Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and repairs across a diverse fleet. You’ll work independently on major and minor repairs, perform road tests, and mentor newer technicians while growing your skills with seasoned colleagues.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• ASE certification and/or DOT-regulated training is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe and use Penske tools to log repairs.
• Log, research, and complete repairs with basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske technician training and mentoring.
