Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a qualified Technician in Sparks, NV to perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on a diverse fleet.

You will use Penske's tools and technologies to diagnose issues and complete repairs, while learning through hands‑on coaching and our technician training programs. The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and steady career growth, with a competitive starting wage and opportunities for advancement across OEM equipment and advanced maintenance

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license and ability to operate tools safely.

Responsabilités

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Use Penske's tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Perform preventative maintenance such as tire rotation and lubrication on gas/diesel engines.
• Partner with your manager to learn new skills through Penske's technician training.
• Take on additional tasks as assigned by supervisor.
