Penske is seeking a Technician II in Burlington, NJ to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on our fleet. You’ll work independently on a variety of OEM equipment, with strong emphasis on safety and reliability.

As a Technician II, you’ll diagnose, repair, and service engines, transmissions, and related components, mentor junior techs, and participate in Penske’s training programs to advance your career. This role emphasizes quality work and teamwork.

Competenze

• 3 years of practical vehicle maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) preferred.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• DOT/OSHA safety policies compliance is essential.

Mansioni

• Making sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Performing preventive maintenance services on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repairing and troubleshooting engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems, and related components.
• Keeping work area clean and safe.
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs.
• Learning new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Other projects as assigned by supervisor.
