You’ll work with minimal supervision, diagnose issues, and complete maintenance tasks while mentoring newer technicians and learning from experienced colleagues.

This role emphasizes safety, reliability, and growth. You’ll gain access to Penske’s training programs, use advanced diagnostic tools, and support customers by keeping vehicles roadworthy.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance required.
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosing/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work in DOT/OSHA safety framework and maintain a DOT drug screening as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, and related components.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools/technologies to log, research, and complete repairs.
