Job summary

Penske is seeking an experienced Technician II in Parsippany, NJ, to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You’ll diagnose issues, mentor junior technicians, and operate with limited supervision while upholding safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• ASE, 608/609 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance services on trucks and trailers with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools/tech to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
