Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician II in Burlington, NJ. You will perform preventive maintenance and complex repairs, diagnosing issues and maintaining fleet safety for customers.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Specialized training and experience in the diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components (engines, transmissions, differentials); ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Experienced using diagnostic equipment, hand tools, and power tools.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Strong problem solving and customer service skills; ability to work well in a team.
• Willing to work in non-climate-controlled conditions; comply with all safety policies.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and ensure vehicles are safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on trucks and trailers with limited supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, and fuel systems.
• Keep the work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic vehicle diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske’s technician training.
• Take on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
