Job summary

Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking a Technician II to perform preventive maintenance and major/minor repairs on a diverse fleet, working independently and mentoring others. You will diagnose issues, complete maintenance, and ensure vehicles remain on the road.

Qualifications

• 3 years of practical experience with vehicle maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and keep vehicles safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with little supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot engines, transmissions, differentials, turbochargers, fuel systems, etc.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including diagnostics.
• Learn new skills through Penske's technician training.
• Work on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
