Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. in York, PA, is seeking an experienced Technician I to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet. You will lead at your location, mentor peers, and work independently on major and minor repairs, road tests, and diagnostics.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• ASE Certification and 608/609 certifications preferred.
• Valid driver's license required, CDL preferred.
• Experience with diagnosis/troubleshooting of major components is valued.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs vehicles and trailers to ensure safety for customers.
• Performs preventive maintenance with minimal supervision.
• Repairs major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) and may replace assemblies.
• Keeps work area clean and safe.
• Uses Penske tools to log, research and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
• Learns new skills through Penske training.
• Performs other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisor.
