Penske Truck Leasing is seeking an experienced Technician I for an on-site role in York, PA. You will perform preventive maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, often working independently while mentoring others. You’ll gain exposure to advanced diagnostic tools and ongoing training.

Competenze

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor‑trailer maintenance.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational/technical certification preferred.
• Experience diagnosing and troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials).
• ASE 608/609 certifications preferred and CDL preferred.

Mansioni

• Make sure vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision.
• Repair and troubleshoot major components, including engines and transmissions.
• Keep work area clean and safe.
• Use Penske tools and technologies to log, research and complete repairs.
• Learn Penske’s technician training and apply new skills.
• Take on other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
