Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician I in Romeoville, IL. You’ll perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a diverse fleet, lead by example, and mentor others while working with a range of OEM equipment.

You will learn Penske’s maintenance processes, use advanced diagnostic tools, and participate in ongoing training. The role offers stability, a strong benefits package, and potential for career growth.

Qualifications

• 6 years of hands-on truck and tractor-trailer maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational/technical repair cert preferred.
• ASE and 608/609 certifications are a plus.
• Experience with diverse OEM equipment and diagnostics tools.

Responsabilités

• Maintain and repair trucks and trailers to ensure safety for customers.
• Perform preventive maintenance with limited supervision and timely execution.
• Diagnose and repair engines, transmissions and differentials, including components replacement.
• Keep work area clean and safe; log repairs using Penske systems.
• Learn Penske maintenance processes and undergo technician training.
• Assist with other assigned tasks as directed by supervisor.
