Penske Truck Leasing Co., L.P. is seeking an experienced Technician I in Raleigh, NC. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs across a broad fleet, serving customers and keeping vehicles safe and on the road.

You will lead by example, mentor others, and work independently on major and minor repairs. Penske emphasizes training, clean facilities, and advanced maintenance technology to support your career growth.

Qualifications

• 6 years of practical experience with truck and tractor-trailer maintenance
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred
• Specialized training and experience in diagnosis/troubleshooting major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) and ASE 608/609 (preferred)

Responsabilités

• Maintaining and repairing vehicles to ensure safety for customers
• Performing preventive maintenance on truck and trailer equipment with minimal supervision
• Diagnosing and repairing major components (engines, transmissions, differentials) and replacing assemblies as needed
• Keeping work area clean and safe
• Using Penske tools and technologies to log and complete repairs and diagnose vehicles
• Learning new skills through Penske technician training
• Taking on other projects as assigned by supervisor
