Penske in Longview, TX is seeking a skilled Technician to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs on our fleet. You’ll work with a variety of equipment and learn Penske’s maintenance processes.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
• Basic mechanical aptitude and 1-2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to use tools and solve problems.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• DOT/OSHA safety compliance and ability to pass screenings.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair vehicles to ensure safety for customers.
• Utilize Penske tools to diagnose and complete repairs.
• Perform preventive maintenance including tire rotation and lubrication.
• Collaborate with manager to learn new skills via Penske training.
• Assist with other tasks as assigned by supervisor.
