Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Diesel Technician for our Fleet Maintenance team to service a Class 8 truck and trailer fleet. You will perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to ensure uptime and safety across the day cab operations, with manufacturer warranty coverage in mind.

The role requires strong diesel diagnostic skills, experience with aftertreatment systems, and ASE certifications. We offer competitive pay, a 104-hour PTO first year, a $500 annual tool allowance, and tuition

Qualifications

3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers.
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
Proficiency with diagnostic software and using a laptop for manuals.
Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.
MIG welding is a plus.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on our fleet.
Utilize diagnostic tools to troubleshoot diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
Address issues with aftertreatment systems and perform regens and filter changes.
Maintain accurate records and collaborate with the team to optimize performance and reduce downtime.
Follow safety protocols and stay DOT compliant.
