Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team and keep our Class 8 fleet on the road. You will perform preventative maintenance and repairs, ensuring uptime while working within warranty constraints.

The role requires 3+ years of heavy-duty experience, ASE certifications, and diesel diagnostics proficiency, including aftertreatment systems. We offer competitive pay, comprehensive benefits, tool/boot allowances, tuition reimbursement, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

3+ years with heavy-duty Class 8 trucks and trailers.
Strong diesel diagnostics for engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems.
Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.
MIG welding experience is a plus.
Two ASE Certifications within 6 months (reimbursed).
T-series ASE certifications valued.
Valid driver's license with clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Routine maintenance and repair on the fleet.
Diagnostics using tools and software for electrical, engine, and transmission issues.
Address aftertreatment system issues and perform regenerations.
Collaborate to optimize vehicle performance and minimize downtime.
Ensure safety protocols and DOT compliance.
