Job summary

Carvana Diesel Technician position within Fleet Maintenance. You will service Class 8 trucks and trailers to keep our fleet safe, reliable, and on the road, performing preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and component replacements.

A strong candidate has 3+ years in heavy-duty diesel, proven diagnostics skills, familiarity with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics, MIG welding is a plus, and the ability to obtain two ASE certifications within six months (reimbursed).

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Proficiency with diagnostic software and laptop-based manuals.
• Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.
• MIG welding is a plus.
• Two ASE Certifications within first 6 months (reimbursed).
• T-series ASE Certifications are highly valued.

Responsibilities

• Routine maintenance and repairs on the fleet.
• Diagnostics and troubleshooting of electrical, engine, and transmission problems.
• Address aftertreatment systems and perform regenerations and filter changes.
• Collaborate with team to maintain records, optimize performance, and minimize downtime.
• Ensure safety protocols and DOT compliance.
