Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team, working on Class 8 trucks and trailers to keep our fleet safe and reliable. You’ll perform preventative maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs with a focus on uptime.

You’ll use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission problems and address aftertreatment systems. A Driver’s License with a clean record is required, with growth opportunities and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools to troubleshoot diesel engines and transmissions.
• Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements on fleet.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission issues.
• Maintain records and optimize vehicle performance to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and DOT compliance.
