Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team. You will service Class 8 trucks and trailers, perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs to keep the fleet up and running.

Expect a focus on uptime, safety, and quality workmanship in a fast-paced environment. We value hands-on experience with diesel engines, aftertreatment systems, and electrical diagnostics, plus a willingness to earn ASE certifications.

Qualifications

• 6 months+ of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Proficient with diesel engine diagnostics and electrical systems.
• Experience with aftertreatment systems and emissions.
• Welding experience (MIG) is a plus.
• Valid driver's license with clean record.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements.
• Diagnose using tools and software to troubleshoot engine and electrical issues.
• Address aftertreatment system issues and perform regenerations.
• Collaborate with team to maintain records and reduce downtime.
• Follow safety protocols and DOT compliance.
