Job summary

Carvana is seeking a Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team in Indiana. You will perform preventative maintenance and diagnostics on a Class 8 fleet to ensure uptime, with a focus on electrical systems and aftertreatment while adhering to safety standards.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers.
• Proficient with diagnostic software and using a laptop for manuals.
• Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics; MIG welding a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance and component replacements on Class 8 fleet.
• Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission problems.
• Address aftertreatment system issues, perform regens, and change filters.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and collaborate to minimize downtime.
• Adhere to safety protocols and DOT compliance.
