Job summary
Carvana is hiring a Diesel Technician to support our Fleet Maintenance team. You will work on Class 8 trucks and trailers, performing preventative maintenance and complex diagnostics to keep our fleet running on schedule.
Ideal candidates have 3+ years on heavy trucks, strong diesel knowledge, and ASE certifications. This role offers competitive pay, solid benefits, and growth opportunities within a rapidly expanding company.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers or similar equipment
- Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines and vehicle systems
- Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics
- MIG welding is a plus
- Driver's license with clean record and ability to perform physical tasks
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on our fleet.
- Use diagnostic tools to troubleshoot electrical, engine, and transmission problems.
- Address aftertreatment systems work, perform regens, and change filters.
- Collaborate with the team to maintain records, optimize performance, and minimize downtime.
- Adhere to safety protocols and DOT compliance requirements
