Job summary

Carvana is seeking a skilled Diesel Technician to join our Fleet Maintenance team in Ohio. You will work on Class 8 trucks and trailers to keep the fleet safe, reliable, and up to uptime standards.

You’ll perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and system repairs, including aftertreatment and electrical work, with emphasis on safety and quality workmanship. We offer growth opportunities and generous benefits in a fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience with Heavy-Duty Class 8 trucks and trailers
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills for diesel engines, transmissions, and vehicle systems
• Experience with aftertreatment systems and electrical diagnostics
• Comfortable with MIG welding is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, and component replacements on the fleet
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical, engine, and transmission problems
• Address aftertreatment system issues and perform regens
• Collaborate with team to maintain records and minimize downtime
• Follow safety protocols and DOT compliance
