Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician B to repair and maintain diesel and non-diesel equipment, including chassis, refuse bodies, and hydraulic/electrical systems. You will work on highly technical vehicles, with a focus on safety and reliability, while supporting drivers on routes.

The role offers training in new technologies, a stable shift schedule, and opportunities for growth. A $4000 sign-on bonus is available along with tool and boot allowances and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues and show technical proficiency.
• ASE certifications are a plus but not required.
• Experience with gasoline and diesel equipment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Repair and maintain chassis components and refuse bodies with associated systems.
• Perform light engine repair, suspension, steering, and HVAC maintenance.
• Safely provide road service to return equipment to operation.
• Identify malfunctions using electronic diagnostic tools and complete company training.
