Job summary

Republic Services is seeking a Maintenance Technician A to perform repair and maintenance on diesel and non-diesel heavy-duty trucks across our fleet, focusing on chassis, refuse bodies, braking, engines and HVAC systems.

You will diagnose multi-system issues, work with advanced diagnostics, and receive training on new technologies while enjoying a stable 1st shift schedule and a generous sign-on bonus.

Qualifications

• Diagnose multi-system issues with strong technical proficiency.
• 5–7 years of experience on heavy-duty trucks.
• ASE Heavy Truck Certifications (T1–T8) are a plus but not required.
• CDL Class B or higher is a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Maintains advanced knowledge and performs complex repairs on chassis, refuse bodies, hydraulics, electrical and braking systems.
• Engine repair, diagnostics and fuel systems expertise.
• Diagnose electrical concerns with scan tools and perform line maintenance, welding and fabrication.
• Complete company training programs and perform other duties as assigned.
