Cox Fleet is currently hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to join our team to support future growth. The role involves licensed DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and light to mid-level repairs on a range of trucks in a shop setting.

The successful candidate will perform diagnostics, document findings, and follow company safety policies. Training and career advancement are emphasized in a fast-paced, nationwide service network.

• Ability to read and interpret service information and diagnostics.

Responsibilities

• Always follow and comply with safe operating practices and procedures.
• Independently determining parts required for each job and interact with the Shop Parts Department to obtain.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment. Assist in cleanup at the end of each day for tools, parts, and equipment.
• Applies knowledge from training/experience to perform job and evaluates technical information.
• Work with Service Writer to assess customer needs and provide information or assistance.
