Cox Fleet is hiring a Shop Diesel Technician II to perform DOT inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs on a range of trucks. You will diagnose electrical and mechanical systems, work with service writers on estimates, and maintain a safe shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED with 3 years of related field experience, or equivalent with advanced certification.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain Driver Qualification File.
• Own set of hand tools suitable for diesel/truck maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Perform DOT inspections and Preventative Maintenance on light, medium, and heavy-duty vehicles.
• Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, hydraulic, and mechanical systems.
• Work with Service Writer to assess customer needs and estimates.
• Maintain safe, clean, and organized shop environment and documentation.
